Safety & Compliance

Veratech’s fleet operates in full accordance with international marine safety, environmental, and operational standards across all active regions. Each vessel, utility tugs (Med Explorer, Carib Sun), dive support vessel (Gulf Stream Eagle), and crane barge (PTM 506), is flagged and registered with appropriate authorities, maintains valid load line certification where applicable, and is equipped with SOLAS-approved lifesaving appliances, EPIRB, VHF radios, and fire-fighting systems.

Crew accommodations, fuel and waste management, and sanitation systems meet commercial and regulatory requirements for offshore and near-shore operations. All navigation and communications systems (GMDSS, GPS, radar, autopilot) are installed and operational. Diving and heavy-lift operations are supported by specialised equipment, including a decompression chamber, dive control stations, and a 300-tonne crane.

Safety compliance for each vessel includes minimum safe manning, CCSS or equivalent standards, regular safety drills, and documentation of safety and environmental procedures. Veratech adheres to the requirements of all local, regional, and international regulatory bodies governing marine construction and logistics, and maintains up-to-date records of insurance, permits, and crew certification for inspection by clients or authorities at any time.
